Gillian Needham, 2013 National Diversity Essay Contest Runner Up!
Gillian Needham, Contract Officer Contract Officer with the City of Tucson, has been awarded 2nd place in the NIGP Diversity Essay Contest! Her essay was titled "The Step By Step Guide To Having It All."
NIGP initiated an Annual Ethics Essay Contest in 1997. The winner is announced at the NIGP Annual Forum and Products Exposition. The winning author receives $250 in cash prizes and two recertification points toward the CPPB or CPPO designation renewal. The 2nd place winner receives $50 in cash prizes and if her article is published in NIGP's magazine they will be awarded two recertification points also.
